Aman has announced its first ranch-inspired retreat and its sixth property in the United States. Named Amansanu — derived from Sanskrit words meaning “peaceful peak” — the resort will be set in the Texas Hill Country amid rolling hills, winding creeks and limestone cliffs.
Amansanu will consist of standalone pavilions and a limited collection of fully serviced Aman-branded residences, all positioned to capture panoramic views across rugged canyons and wide valleys.

Olson Kundig, the acclaimed architectural firm, will design the property. On-site amenities will include a main lodge, multiple dining concepts, and an expansive Aman Spa and Wellness Center set along the resort’s natural creek. Additional facilities will feature racquet sports courts, extensive hiking trails and Aman’s first fully serviced stables, reflecting the retreat’s ranch inspiration.
The Aman-branded residences will be offered in a limited collection, each situated on expansive hillside parcels beginning at 10 acres. Designed to integrate with the landscape, the residences will emphasize open-plan living, the use of natural materials and broad terraces that extend living spaces outdoors.

Amansanu expands Aman’s growing presence in the Americas. It joins a pipeline of upcoming and recent openings, including Amavari in Baja Sur, Mexico, which is set to open this summer, as well as Aman Miami Beach, Aman Beverly Hills and Amancaya in The Bahamas.
