Air France Expands South America Routes and Connectivity

Air France has expanded its South American network with a new nonstop service between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Brasília (BSB). This addition marks Air France’s third destination in Brazil, alongside Rio de Janeiro (GIG) and São Paulo (GRU).

The route operates three times a week—Monday, Wednesday and Friday—using Boeing 777-200 aircraft configured with 309 seats, including 35 business class seats. The schedule and equipment give travelers a comfortable option for transatlantic travel between France and Brazil’s capital.

Air France’s broader presence in Brazil is strengthened through its commercial partnership with Brazilian carrier GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes. Through this cooperation, Air France and KLM can offer connecting itineraries to a total of 28 destinations across Brazil via their hubs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, improving connectivity for passengers traveling beyond the main international gateways.

This new Brasília service reflects ongoing demand for direct links between Europe and Brazil’s political and administrative center, supporting both business and leisure travel while expanding Air France’s footprint in South America.
