Served in The Coral Room, The Runway Afternoon Tea presents a selection of carefully prepared sandwiches: truffled egg mayonnaise; Nates’ grilled cheese; smoked salmon rillette sub rolls; roast chicken with parmesan mayonnaise on onion brioche; and cucumber with crème fraîche. Freshly baked buttermilk and sultana scones arrive with Cornish clotted cream and homemade plum jam.
The pastry selection is playful and inventive, with items named to evoke the show’s spirit. Highlights include A Single Cube of Cheese (a New York cheesecake with Papua New Guinea vanilla), Everybody Wants This (red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting), Lemon Drizzle Madeleine, No Foam Skimmed Latte with an Extra Shot (a hazelnut opera cake with coffee and caramel), and Lumpy Blue Sweater (a Speculoos sable filled with dulce de leche). A trio of themed cocktails—The Miranda Club, Cerulean and Runway Royale—is also available in The Coral Room.

Situated just off Tottenham Court Road, The Bloomsbury occupies a former women’s club that was converted into a hotel in the 1990s. The red brick exterior opens into interiors designed by Martin Brudnizki, which evoke a glamorous 1920s atmosphere with antique accents, bold wall coverings and luxurious fabrics. The hotel houses the Seamus Heaney Library—named for the Irish Nobel Prize–winning poet—and includes a collection of first editions; the space can also be used for meetings.
Guests can enhance their stay with a visit to AIRE Ancient Baths in nearby Covent Garden, a wellness destination offering restorative treatments and rituals. The menu includes signature therapies such as The Restorative Ritual by Jo Malone London, themed holistic rituals and a range of ancient relaxing massages designed to promote deep relaxation and renewal.
