Plaza Premium Launches New Heathrow Airport Lounge — What to Expect

Lounge operator Plaza Premium has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Airport, located in Terminal 4 as part of a wider expansion program scheduled for 2017.

The facility sits on the mezzanine level in the T4 Arrivals area and includes 25 private shower rooms, a dedicated lounge area and a bar. The space is designed to accommodate up to 75 guests, providing a comfortable environment for arrivals and short-stay visitors.

As part of its refreshed offering, the lounge introduces a Flight Club dining concept focused on healthier meal choices, including options such as slow-pressed juices and light, nutritious dishes to suit travellers seeking wellness-focused dining.

Plaza Premium has further expansion plans across Heathrow for the year. These include a landside facility planned for Terminal 3 and an airside lounge at Terminal 5A. In addition, the group is developing a transit hotel at Terminal 3 under its Aerotel brand, extending its range of services for transit passengers and short overnight stays.

The new Terminal 4 lounge strengthens Plaza Premium’s presence at Heathrow and reflects a trend toward more comprehensive passenger services, combining relaxation, refreshment and convenient amenities for arriving and connecting travellers.
