JW Marriott Opens Its Second Hotel in Mumbai: What to Know

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has opened this month, becoming the seventh JW Marriott hotel in India and joining the brand’s existing properties in Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mumbai (another location), New Delhi, Pune and Mussoorie.

Sorenson, president and CEO of Marriott International.

Located less than a mile from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, the five-star property occupies more than 15 acres and offers 585 guest rooms. Room categories include 163 deluxe pool-view rooms, 23 deluxe suites, 23 executive balcony rooms and one presidential suite, providing an array of options for business and leisure travelers.

The hotel features several dining venues and a full-service spa. Spa by JW at this property is the first Spa by JW in the Asia Pacific region and the second worldwide, offering seven treatment rooms, a private couples’ Jacuzzi, two steam and sauna rooms, and separate Jacuzzis for men and women. For events and conferences, the hotel provides a 10,000-square-foot grand ballroom, a mix of indoor and outdoor convention spaces, and 11 additional meeting rooms to accommodate a wide range of functions.
