Couples and small groups can escape to the quieter side of the Garden State: Cape May, New Jersey — specifically Cape Resorts’ Beach Plum Farm. This 62-acre property combines the calm and natural beauty of a working farm with the distinctive charm, comfort and history of Cape May.

This spring, Beach Plum Farm introduces a new four-day retreat tailored for couples and friends. The immersive cottage escape follows the Renewed itinerary, offering a blend of relaxed country living and refined comforts. Guests stay in chic, thoughtfully updated cottages and can participate in socially distant activities set across the farm.

Activities include hands-on gardening where guests plant herbs, charcuterie lessons from local experts, and herb-infused cocktail classes. Evenings can feature an intimate, farm-to-table private dinner prepared with fresh ingredients from the land. Throughout the stay, hosts provide guided experiences that introduce guests to daily farm life while still leaving time to relax and explore on their own.

For those who want a little ocean-inspired pampering, the itinerary allows time to visit Congress Hall’s Sea Spa, where spa treatments and restorative services complement the restorative farm experience.
The retreat balances hands-on activities, relaxation and understated luxury. It runs April 5–May 7, with rates starting at $2,250 for two guests.
