The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, is offering a variety of summer promotions and activities, including room specials, seasonal deals, a Fourth of July celebration and a Summer Chill photo contest.
Several room promotions make a stay affordable this season. The Crazy 8 promotion (booking code CRAZY8) offers rates from $88 per night for a two-night stay. The Chillin special provides 32 percent off the best available rate through September 30. Teachers, military personnel and first responders receive discounted rates with codes TEACH or HEROES for two-night minimum stays and have the resort fee waived. The Sunsational Savings package (promo code ZS4) rewards guests who stay four nights with the fourth night free, a $75 food and beverage credit and a complimentary upgrade at check-in.
Resort amenities cater to families, couples and golfers. The property features multiple pools, a 60-foot water slide and poolside DJ entertainment. Guests can rent bicycles, play championship golf, take tennis lessons or enjoy spa treatments and live evening entertainment. This summer’s spa special includes a 50-minute Swedish massage or hydrating facial for $79.
Children have a full roster of activities, from feeding local wildlife and batting practice to ping-pong tournaments, squirt-gun painting, movie nights, craft hours and organized games. The Desert Rangers program, for ages 5 through 12, teaches kids about desert wildlife and includes an off-site visit to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens.
The resort’s Fourth of July celebration is planned with a poolside barbecue, fireworks and a themed DIVE-IN movie, along with games and activities across the property throughout the day.
The Summer Chill photo contest invites guests to share their best resort photos on Instagram. To enter, submit a photo taken at the resort, tag @WestinMissionHills and use the hashtag #SummerChillWMH. Three winners will each receive a one-night stay in a presidential suite, a VIP cabana for a full day at the pool and a $50 pool food credit. Submitted photos are shared on the resort’s Facebook page, and the photo with the most likes wins. Contest periods run through June 30; July 1–31; and August 1–31.
