The Newport Wine & Food Festival, presented by Food & Wine, offers a two-day Grand Tasting featuring hundreds of wines on the lawn of Marble House. Alongside the tastings, the festival hosts chef appearances and cooking demonstrations with national, regional and local culinary talents. Additional highlights include the Wine & Rosecliff Gala, a Sunday Jazz Brunch and an evening Newport After Dark party. The festival runs Sept. 21–24.
Fans of the Food Network will appreciate the Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival, scheduled for Oct. 12–15. Beyond the Grand Tasting, attendees can watch culinary demonstrations from notable chefs such as Anne Burrell, Hannah Hart and Robert Irvine, and take part in rooftop parties, chef-driven dinners and weekend brunch events.
Texas Hill Country continues to grow as a recognized wine destination. Visit historic downtown Fredericksburg for the annual Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest on Oct. 28. The one-day festival showcases about 30 local wineries alongside more than 40 specialty food vendors from the region, making it a great way to discover local producers and pairings.
The Denver International Wine Festival is the Rocky Mountains’ premier wine and food event, taking place in downtown Denver Nov. 2–4. The festival spotlights more than 400 international wines from 18 countries and features curated food-and-wine pairings, local produce stands, gourmet food products, fine art and other culinary experiences.
