DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its first property in the historic city of Krakow, Poland: DoubleTree by Hilton Krakow Hotel & Convention Center. Strategically situated near Krakow Arena and the Expo Krakow fairgrounds, the new hotel features 232 guestrooms, including 30 executive rooms with access to an executive lounge, 14 suites and the city’s largest presidential suite.

“We are delighted to expand our presence in Poland and to welcome guests to Krakow,” said John Greenleaf, global head of DoubleTree, Hilton Worldwide. “From the warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival to attentive service throughout the stay, it’s the small touches that create memorable experiences. We look forward to bringing genuine DoubleTree hospitality to this beautiful city.”

The hotel offers two on-site restaurants showcasing European and Mediterranean cuisine and four bars for casual drinks and socializing. Guests can take advantage of various shuttle services connecting the hotel to Krakow’s city center and major attractions, including the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine. For events and conferences, the property provides 16 versatile meeting spaces capable of hosting up to 2,000 delegates, making it suitable for large conventions, corporate gatherings and social functions.

Designed to serve both business and leisure travelers, the property balances practical amenities with local character. Executive-room guests benefit from dedicated lounge access and enhanced services, while suite accommodations provide extra space and privacy. Onsite dining covers a range of tastes with menus inspired by regional and Mediterranean flavors, and bar areas cater to relaxed evenings or informal meetings.

With its proximity to the Krakow Arena and the Expo Krakow Fair Trade Center, the hotel is well positioned for attendees of concerts, sporting events and trade shows. The shuttle options simplify travel to key tourist sites and help visitors maximize their time exploring Krakow’s medieval Old Town, historic landmarks and cultural attractions.

Meeting planners will find a comprehensive package of facilities and services, from flexible room layouts to technical support and catering options. The sizable event capacity allows the hotel to host major conferences, exhibitions and social events while providing dedicated spaces for smaller meetings and breakouts.
