Hyatt Regency Incheon will open its new West Tower this July, adding 500 guestrooms, expanded meeting facilities and two new dining venues. Situated just minutes from Incheon International Airport and within easy reach of downtown Seoul, the hotel currently offers 523 guestrooms. After the expansion, the five-star property will total 1,023 guestrooms, making it the largest Hyatt hotel outside North America.
The West Tower is designed to strengthen the property’s appeal for conferences, conventions and exhibitions. New event spaces include a ballroom that can accommodate more than 830 guests and a landscaped garden venue that features an outdoor children’s pool. These additions aim to attract large-scale corporate and social events while providing family-friendly amenities.
Guests will benefit from improved options for dining and leisure with two new restaurants planned for the tower. Combined with existing outlets, the expanded food-and-beverage program seeks to offer a wider variety of culinary experiences for both overnight guests and local visitors.
Strategically located for international and domestic travelers, Hyatt Regency Incheon’s expansion underscores the hotel’s role as a gateway property for arrivals at Incheon International Airport and as a convenient base for visitors to Seoul. The added guestrooms and flexible meeting spaces position the hotel to better serve business groups, incentive travel and leisure guests seeking modern facilities close to major transport links.
With the completion of the West Tower, the property will also increase its capacity to host multi-day events and exhibitions, offering planners additional breakout rooms and versatile function areas. The combination of a large-capacity ballroom and outdoor garden space provides planners with options for both formal sessions and more casual, family-oriented activities.
The expansion reflects broader demand for upscale, well-connected accommodations in the Seoul metropolitan area and aims to capture both regional and international travelers. By nearly doubling its room count, Hyatt Regency Incheon will reinforce its competitive position in the market and expand its ability to host a wider range of events and guest types.
