Fiji has opened its first-ever speakeasy, Cellar & Barrel, located at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. This refined new bar is dedicated to fine wines, rare whiskies and spirits, and craft cocktails, offering more than 300 beverage labels sourced from around the world.

Cellar & Barrel is divided into two distinct concepts that complement each other. The Wine Cellar showcases selections from both Old World and New World wine regions, with offerings that range from approachable everyday bottles to rare and collectible vintages. Guests can book the Cellar Elite experience for an intimate guided tasting led by the resort’s certified in-house beverage team. Each tasting is paired with thoughtfully curated platters, designed to enhance the flavor profiles and create a memorable sensory journey.
The Barrel Craft concept presents a refined speakeasy atmosphere inspired by the traditions of whisky making. A striking chandelier, influenced by distillation aesthetics, hangs above the space while bespoke art made from framed belts decorates the walls. For collectors and frequent visitors, the bar offers personal whiskey lockers with glass-front displays forming a “whiskey wall,” where bottles can be stored and personalized with custom name engravings.

The cocktail menu blends classic influences with creative modern twists. Signature drinks include:
- Asparas — Amrut single malt, Chambord, rose and honey syrup, finished with cardamom bitters;
- Enchantress — Limoncello, amaretto, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup and prosecco for a bright, effervescent profile;
- Uisge Beatha — Highland Park combined with chocolate bitters, candied orange and honey syrup for a rich, smoky finish.
