Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita has introduced a new Pilates & Posture Lab that complements the resort’s holistic wellbeing offerings. Created in partnership with The Studio MX, a respected local movement collective that promotes a Vitality Through Movement philosophy, the studio is designed to help guests regain balance, mobility and calm.

“Our guests often come to Punta Mita to recharge physically, mentally, and emotionally,” said John O’Sullivan, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “In an age shaped by digital fatigue and nonstop schedules, the Pilates & Posture Lab enhances our wellness programming by offering targeted movement practices that help travelers recover after a flight, unwind after long workdays, and reconnect with their bodies. It’s another way we support guests’ wellbeing while they enjoy our coastal surroundings.”
Situated inside the resort’s fitness center, the studio is outfitted with six reformers, mirrored walls and a calm, focused layout that supports personal attention. Sessions are led by experienced instructors and include both group classes and private coaching. Each class blends classic reformer Pilates with intentional stretching, breathwork and alignment techniques to improve mobility, posture and overall resilience.
The daily schedule is designed to suit different needs: Morning Pilates Reformer at 8:00 a.m. offers a gentle yet energizing start to the day; Pilates + Breathwork at 9:15 a.m. combines reformer work with guided breathing practices to enhance focus and recovery; and Pilates + Posture Lab at 10:30 a.m. emphasizes alignment and structural balance. Private sessions are available for guests seeking customized Pilates instruction or targeted alignment work tailored to individual goals or rehabilitation needs.
By integrating Pilates, breath awareness and alignment training, the new lab supports travelers who want to maintain their fitness routines, accelerate recovery after travel, or explore mindful movement in a boutique setting. The program complements the resort’s broader wellness amenities and provides practical, accessible tools for long-term posture and mobility improvements.
Classes and private appointments are available for resort guests and can be reserved through the fitness center. The partnership with The Studio MX brings local expertise and a movement-first approach that aligns with Punta Mita’s reputation for thoughtful, restorative experiences.
