Art takes center stage at Trump SoHo New York.
The hotel has partnered with Indiewalls to present a rotating gallery of work by emerging New York City artists in its two-story duplex penthouse.
The exhibition, on display through the summer of 2013, features pieces by Max Gleason, Jeremy Penn, Lee Everett and Robert Herman.
Each artist offers a distinct perspective on New York City’s character. Jeremy Penn’s mixed-media portraits evoke recognizable faces—such as Kate Moss, Jimi Hendrix and Twiggy—while Robert Herman’s street scenes convey a nostalgic energy reminiscent of 1950s Manhattan. Max Gleason and Lee Everett focus on specific urban details, isolating elements that highlight the city’s vitality and intrigue.
Launched in 2011, Indiewalls is an online platform that uses prominent public and private spaces across New York City to showcase fresh work by local creatives.
