The remodeled lobby features natural touches such as a water feature, a stone fireplace and a living wall, creating a resort-like atmosphere while maintaining the connectivity and services business travelers require. The combination of relaxation and productivity was a key element in the design approach.
“Our guests really love the new lobby. I see them appreciating the surroundings all the time,” Scaramellino added. “The space is ideal for gatherings, catching up on work or simply relaxing. Usage has increased because people are naturally drawn to it. There is a relaxed, welcoming flow through the lobby that reflects the Westin philosophy of living well.”
