The Lincoln Plaza London has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton, a growing global portfolio of independent upscale and luxury hotels curated for their distinct character and sense of place. Scheduled to open in late 2016 in the heart of one of Europe’s leading business districts, Lincoln Plaza London marks the Curio Collection’s first property in the United Kingdom.
Introduced in 2014, the Curio Collection brings together remarkable hotels that reflect the cities they inhabit. Each property is chosen for its unique story, design and personality while benefiting from Hilton’s global standards and loyalty program. Lincoln Plaza London will add to a network of more than 50 Curio properties and roughly 13,000 rooms either operating or under development worldwide, joining peers in prominent cities such as Paris, İstanbul and Hamburg.
“Lincoln Plaza London, our first Curio — A Collection by Hilton in London, will be a unique destination in its own right as the hotel’s interior design draws inspiration from the location’s strong industrial heritage and modern architecture of the wider development,” commented Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe & Africa for Hilton Worldwide. The design approach aims to honor local history while offering contemporary comfort and style.
The hotel will feature 129 guest rooms designed to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers alike. Rooms will emphasize thoughtful layouts, contemporary materials and local touches that reflect the neighborhood’s industrial and architectural influences. Guests can expect a selection of room categories to accommodate solo travelers, couples and business guests seeking both functionality and comfort.
On-site amenities are planned to enhance both productivity and relaxation. A state-of-the-art fitness center will provide modern equipment and space for exercise routines. Dining options will include an organic deli that focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, as well as two full-service restaurants offering Indian and Mediterranean cuisine, respectively. These dining venues will aim to combine authentic flavors with refined presentation and attentive service. For socializing and unwinding, the hotel will include two distinct bars and a roof terrace, providing indoor and outdoor options with views over the surrounding development.
As part of the Curio Collection, Lincoln Plaza London will participate in Hilton’s guest programs, giving travelers access to the brand’s reservation systems and loyalty benefits while maintaining the distinct identity and independent spirit that characterizes Curio properties. This balance allows guests to enjoy a boutique-style experience backed by the operational standards and global reach of a major hotel company.
Located in a major business neighborhood, the hotel’s positioning aims to appeal to corporate travelers, conference attendees and international visitors seeking convenient access to commercial centers and transportation links. At the same time, the design and culinary offerings are intended to attract local diners and residents looking for new dining and nightlife options in the area.
Lincoln Plaza London’s opening represents a strategic step for Hilton as it expands the Curio Collection into the UK market, supplementing the brand’s presence in Europe and reinforcing Hilton’s commitment to offering diverse hotel experiences across different city contexts. The property’s combination of thoughtful design, varied dining concepts and contemporary amenities is intended to create a memorable, locally rooted stay for a wide range of guests.
Further announcements about the hotel’s official opening date, room details and reservation information were expected to follow as the project progressed toward its late-2016 launch.
