Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort Reveals Stylish New Look

Situated overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and adjacent to Vilamoura Marina in Portugal’s Algarve region, Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort has reopened following an extensive redesign and refurbishment. The renovation introduces a contemporary, nautical-inspired aesthetic across guestrooms, the entrance lobby and Argo Cocktail Bar, along with newly landscaped gardens and a redesigned pool.

The hotel’s four-month renovation introduces a fresh nautical and contemporary design inspired by Algarve beaches, the marina and the Atlantic Ocean. In 383 bedrooms and 21 suites, a palette of soft beiges, striped fabrics and natural materials reflects the coastal views, creating a relaxed atmosphere and a seamless connection between exterior scenery and interior design.

Family rooms, measuring approximately 527 square feet, now feature an exterior lounge area and terrace. The designs combine wood, sand-coloured textures and rattan finishes with elegant lighting to create comfortable family living spaces. The revamped Vilamoura Suite includes optional V.I.P. experiences such as dinner for two at Pepper’s Steakhouse with beverages, an 80-minute treatment at Tivoli Spa, or sun loungers for two at Purobeach, the adjoining beach club open April–October.

The lobby has been reimagined using natural materials, combining warm woods, textured fabrics and neutral tones with accents of nautical blue. A central tropical garden brings an outdoor sense into the public space, making the lobby feel more intimate. Glee Boutique Café has also been refreshed with natural tones that complement the lobby and better showcase pastries, chocolates and colorful macarons.

Voyage restaurant, where breakfast is served, has been renewed with a sophisticated French Riviera style. Vertical blue stripes, wooden chairs and bamboo details are blended with floral and geometric patterns as a nod to the Moorish influences typical of southern Portugal.

Argo Cocktail Bar has been upgraded with richer tones, satin textures and gold accents for a more glamorous atmosphere. The balcony, offering prime views over the marina, features light woods and natural textures that harmonize with the hotel’s dining options, including Pepper’s Steakhouse, known for premium cuts of meat and a carefully curated wine list.

The resort provides easy access to Algarve beaches, boat tours, golf courses and nature trails at Ria Formosa Natural Park, as well as cultural experiences in nearby Loulé, where local artisans practice traditional crafts such as tile painting, tapestry and basketry. Tivoli Marina Vilamoura also offers a 25,833-square-foot Tivoli Spa, where guests can enjoy face and body therapies using local organic ingredients.
