Aerolíneas Argentinas Adds New Direct Miami Service — Flights Start Soon

Aerolineas Argentinas will begin nonstop flights between Miami International Airport and Córdoba, Argentina, this summer. Córdoba, the country’s second-largest city located about 430 miles northwest of Buenos Aires, was founded by Spanish settlers in 1573 and includes a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Starting July 4, the national carrier will operate two weekly services from Miami to Ingeniero Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport (Córdoba) using two-class Airbus A340-300 aircraft. Each aircraft will offer 32 business-class seats along with economy seating.

The new route strengthens Miami’s connectivity across Latin America and adds another direct link for travelers between South Florida and inland Argentina. In announcing the service, Emilio T. Gonzalez, director of Miami-Dade Aviation, highlighted the airport’s role in expanding options for the region’s passengers while continuing to grow air service to previously unserved markets in Asia and Africa.

Passengers can expect full-service international operations on the route, with business-class amenities on the A340-300 and standard international economy offerings. The twice-weekly schedule provides travelers with direct access to Córdoba’s cultural and historical attractions, as well as improved connectivity for business and leisure travelers traveling between the southeastern United States and central Argentina.

By adding Miami–Córdoba nonstop service, Aerolineas Argentinas and Miami International Airport widen travel choices for the region while supporting tourism and commerce ties between the two cities. The seasonal launch reflects demand for direct connections beyond Buenos Aires and offers a convenient link to Córdoba’s heritage sites, universities, and growing local economy.
