Heathrow Express will introduce discounted off-peak fares for travel between Heathrow and central London from August 1. During the promotion, an off-peak single will be offered for £20 and an off-peak return for £32. These fares are available for travel throughout August and cover weekends and bank holidays.
Off-peak times exclude weekday peak periods of Monday–Friday, 7–10 a.m. and 4–7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased via the Heathrow Express app, online, or at the station on the day of travel. The offer runs until August 31 and applies only during the designated off-peak hours.
“We’ve welcomed a record number of passengers onboard so far this year and this offer is another chance for people to enjoy the fastest way between Heathrow and London for less,” said Fraser Brown, director, Heathrow Express. Alongside this temporary summer discount, Heathrow Express continues its permanent kids travel policy, allowing families to benefit from reduced travel costs and high levels of onboard service.
Children under 15 travel free in Express Class when accompanied by a paying adult. Unaccompanied children can also travel free in Express Class provided they present proof of air travel, such as a valid flight booking or boarding pass. In Business First, children may travel free only when accompanied by an adult holding a Business First ticket; unaccompanied children are not permitted to travel free in Business First.
Heathrow Express trains are equipped with at-seat power sockets, free WiFi, air conditioning, and dedicated luggage storage, making the service convenient for both leisure and business travellers. The combination of faster journey times and onboard amenities aims to provide a comfortable and efficient transfer between the airport and central London.
Passengers planning travel in August should check the Heathrow Express app or website for ticket availability and to confirm off-peak eligibility, and may purchase tickets at the station when travelling on the day.
