“Our new take on travel planning through the EXP Miami Beach Tour App welcomes visitors with a selection of virtual journeys, allowing them to explore options prior to arrival and to discover unique and hidden itineraries in real time when in market,” said Steve Adkins, chairman of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. The app was designed to match user behavior, providing an interactive option for people who want to immerse themselves in activities that represent Miami Beach’s arts and culture community.
EXP Miami Beach Tours features four signature itineraries: Art in Public Spaces, Hidden Art, A Day Inside Miami Beach Architectural Wonders, and Public Art and Iconic History in Miami Beach. Each route lists notable stops—large-scale public artworks, lesser-known pieces, and historic sites—so users can explore the full range of artistic expression across the city at their own pace.

Several selections were made in collaboration with guest curator and MBVCA board member George Neary, an independent City of Miami Beach tour operator and local community art advocate. Users can follow his recommended stops and learn context about Miami Beach’s history and its evolving role in the art and architectural world.

“Through research and focus groups, we’ve created an intuitive tour experience that offers self-guided routes developed by people active in the art and design scene,” said Grisette Marcos, executive director of MBVCA. The app highlights specific landmarks and artistic pockets—some tucked away in unexpected places—and invites visitors to connect with the community through first-hand experiences available in the new tour app.
EXP Miami Beach Tours aims to serve both first-time visitors and returning guests who want deeper engagement with Miami Beach’s cultural landscape. The app’s interactive maps, curated stops, and expert tips make it easy to plan a full day or pick a short walking route focused on art, architecture, or history. By combining practical navigation with curated storytelling, the app helps users discover celebrated pieces and hidden gems that illustrate Miami Beach’s unique creative identity.
Available now on major app stores, EXP Miami Beach Tours complements on-the-ground exploration and allows users to preview routes before they arrive. Whether seeking monumental public murals, intimate sculptures, or architectural landmarks, the app provides an accessible way to experience the city’s artistic pulse. Travelers and locals alike can use the tours to create personalized itineraries and uncover new perspectives on Miami Beach’s past and present.
