Last week Putnam & Putnam opened its first retail location inside Moxy NYC Chelsea. The renowned floral design house now offers a curated selection of seasonal fresh flowers and whimsical gift items in the hotel’s entryway. Known for couture bouquets used at celebrity weddings and fashion shows, the brand’s distinctive aesthetic is now available to hotel guests and local visitors who want to bring a piece of that style home.
“We often spend our time scouring Chelsea’s Flower District for the latest, freshest blooms, so having a brick-and-mortar presence inside the buzzy, soon-to-open Moxy Chelsea hotel is especially exciting,” said Darroch Putnam. “This location lets us sell our own arrangements and favorite travel and gift items directly to the public in a way that hasn’t been done in this area before.”

The boutique operates daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., making it one of the few floral retailers in the neighborhood that remains open after 2 p.m., and offering convenient hours for both hotel guests and Chelsea residents to pick up fresh blooms and curated gifts.
