Originally the Gray & Dudley Building, this landmark sits in downtown Nashville’s arts district and houses an on-site contemporary art museum that doubles as an inspiring venue for meetings and social gatherings. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Gray & Dudley, highlights Southern cuisine built from locally sourced ingredients supplied by area producers and craft purveyors, making it popular with both locals and visitors.

The hotel’s central location places it within a short walk of major attractions: roughly 12 minutes to Nissan Stadium or Bridgestone Arena and even closer to Nashville’s vibrant entertainment hubs such as Printers Alley and Broadway. Reflecting Nashville’s thriving art scene, the hotel’s gallery features rotating exhibitions and site-specific installations that explore modern culture. These curated exhibitions are complimentary and open to the public.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building once served as the headquarters of the Gray & Dudley Hardware Company. Designers honored that history by blending original architectural elements—large arched windows, cast-iron columns and high ceilings—with rich colors, layered textures and contemporary furnishings. The hotel offers 110 guest rooms and 14 suites featuring wood floors, elevated finishes and curated artwork. Select eighth-floor suites open onto semi-private terraces with expansive city views, while the penthouse suite includes a wrap-around terrace overlooking the city and the Cumberland River, plus indoor and outdoor dining for entertaining.

For events, the hotel provides 10,500 square feet of versatile, art-filled space spread across 10 meeting rooms. Options include gallery space, private dining rooms, terraces and access to the museum, making the property suitable for everything from intimate gatherings to larger social events and corporate meetings.

Guest amenities are designed for convenience and comfort: pet-friendly rooms, valet parking, a business center and a modern fitness facility equipped with Peloton bikes. As a Hilton property, the hotel participates in Hilton Honors, offering members benefits when booking directly. Members receive exclusive discounts, free standard Wi‑Fi, access to the Hilton Honors mobile app and flexible payment options that combine points and cash for bookings.

The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville balances historic charm, contemporary design and local culture, making it an appealing choice for travelers seeking an art-forward hotel with easy access to Nashville’s music, dining and entertainment scenes.
