Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ Ocean Prime brand will open its first Las Vegas location and 18th restaurant overall in 2023, anchoring 63, a new multilevel retail and hospitality complex. CMR plans to invest nearly $20 million into this flagship Ocean Prime at the prominent corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.

The restaurant will span more than 14,500 square feet and feature a nearly 2,500 square-foot rooftop terrace. Seating will exceed 400 guests and include two bars and three private dining rooms. Perched four stories above the Las Vegas Strip, the location offers sweeping views throughout the dining rooms and outdoor patio lounge.
Nationally recognized designer Karen Herold, principal of Studio K, leads the design for Ocean Prime Las Vegas. The concept draws inspiration from the meeting of land and sea: the lounge incorporates soft wave motifs, ocean hues and lighter tones, while the main dining room blends earthy shades with deep blue water tones. The outdoor patio and lounge are crafted to showcase the Strip’s views while evoking the relaxed atmosphere of a seaside resort.

“We have been searching for a Las Vegas location for quite some time, and once we set sights on this space with its desirable locale and views of the action on the Strip, we were confident we had found the perfect spot,” said Cameron Mitchell, founder and CEO of CMR. “Our Las Vegas restaurant will be an iconic location for the Ocean Prime brand. Situated on the rooftop of 63, guests from around the country and the world will be able to take in the energy and excitement of the Strip while enjoying our ‘yes is the answer’ hospitality and our carefully executed culinary and beverage offerings.”
Ocean Prime’s menu highlights seafood and steaks, hand-crafted cocktails, curated features and signature desserts. Offerings include the Berries + Bubbles cocktail, a Wine Spectator–recognized wine list, the smoking shellfish tower, sea scallops with Parmesan risotto, prime steaks, 10-layer carrot cake and warm butter cake.

The four-story 63 complex will offer approximately 243,000 square feet, with upper floors designed to deliver expansive views of the Strip. Development is led by Brett Torino of Torino Companies together with Dayssi and Paul Kanavos of Flag Luxury, and features design work from Arquitectonica of Miami Beach. Additional tenants will be announced in the coming months. 63 is slated for a fall 2022 debut with full opening expected in spring 2023.
