Marriott International’s extended-stay brand Residence Inn has expanded into all 50 states with the recent opening of a location in Wyoming.
This milestone makes Residence Inn the company’s second brand to achieve nationwide presence, following Courtyard by Marriott, which reached the same milestone in 2009.
“We’re so pleased that Residence Inn by Marriott can now welcome guests in every state, from Alaska to Hawai’i,” said Eric Jacobs, chief development officer for select service and extended stay brands, Marriott International. “It’s a significant achievement and demonstrates that both travelers and hotel investors value an extended-stay experience that combines the comforts of home with the reliability and service of a trusted brand.”
Residence Inn expects to open about 60 additional properties this year across Canada, Europe and the United States. The brand currently operates roughly 725 hotels worldwide, with approximately 230 more in the development pipeline.
Designed for stays of five nights or longer, Residence Inn properties offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites equipped with full kitchens, including a coffeemaker, microwave and essential appliances. Suites provide work-friendly features such as generous, well-lit desks, comfortable chairs and complimentary Wi‑Fi, while guests seeking rest benefit from quality mattresses and crisp linens.
Each hotel serves a complimentary breakfast with healthy options and convenient grab-and-go choices. In the evenings, RiMix offers a casual, social setting with light fare for guests to relax and connect. Common hotel amenities often include meeting rooms, a business library, indoor swimming pools, outdoor patios with fire pits and barbecue areas, fitness centers and Sport Courts.
