Rip Van Winkle never slept better. If the legendary long-sleeper had dozed off on a Westin Heavenly Bed, he might have slumbered far longer than 20 years.
Renowned for leading hotel sleep initiatives worldwide, Westin Hotels & Resorts marks the 15th anniversary of its signature bed and bedding with the launch of a yearlong Well-Being Movement.
As part of the program, Westin is partnering with Lark Technologies to introduce a Sleep Sensor Wearable Lending program. Available throughout November at participating properties—including The Westin New York at Times Square, The Westin Singapore, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Frankfurt, The Westin Cape Town, The Westin Sydney, The Westin Abu Dhabi and The Westin Palace Milan—guests can try the Lark Up Sleep Monitor. The device combines a silent alarm, sleep-pattern tracking and virtual coaching to help users improve sleep quality with personalized, science-backed recommendations.
“As the Heavenly Bed celebrates a milestone anniversary, it’s fitting that Westin is advancing its commitment to better sleep by embracing technology to discover the next breakthroughs in restorative rest,” said Brian Povinelli, global brand leader for Westin Hotels & Resorts. “Working with Lark Technologies gives Westin guests access to tailored coaching tips grounded in scientific research. This initiative demonstrates how practical insights can support a core element of well-being: sleep.”
Guests who enjoy the Lark Pro through the lending program can also purchase the device for home use and continue to benefit from Lark’s sleep coaching methods. To celebrate the anniversary, Westin is also offering guests a chance to win a two-night stay at a Westin property.
