Finnair has teamed up with Makia, a Helsinki-based clothing company, to introduce a new onboard shopping experience. Available on Finnair’s three Airbus A350 aircraft via the Nordic Sky Wi-Fi portal, the service lets passengers browse the Makia Spring/Summer 2016 collection directly from a smartphone, tablet or laptop at no extra charge. Currently, passengers in all classes can use the Nordic Sky Wi-Fi portal to access finnair.com, news and Finnair services for free. As Finnair expands Wi‑Fi to more aircraft in its Airbus fleet, the same shopping features—including the Makia selection—are expected to roll out to additional planes.
