Passengers traveling from London Stansted Airport can now enjoy up to four hours of free WiFi as part of the airport’s ongoing customer service improvement program.
The enhanced service provides reliable WiFi coverage across all main passenger areas, including check-in zones, the departure lounges, arrival halls and boarding gates. “It’s clear from our customer feedback and our own surveys what really matters to passengers when they are at the airport and which services they value the most, including access to reliable and convenient free WiFi, so it’s vital we are able to respond positively and meet those expectations,” said Daniel Gallo, security and customer service director at Stansted Airport. “The extension of free WiFi service is the latest example of a host of key service enhancements we’ve recently introduced at the airport or have in the pipeline, and another step along our journey to continually improve the overall passenger experience at Stansted.”
Accessing the free WiFi is straightforward. Passengers complete a brief registration process on their device, and once registered the network will remember previously used devices and reconnect them automatically on future visits. The complimentary access allows up to four hours of use per session; if passengers need online access beyond the free allowance, paid options are available for extended connectivity.
