Star Alliance has opened a new lounge at São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport. Situated in Terminal 3 on the mezzanine level, the lounge covers approximately 14,531 square feet and welcomes eligible passengers daily from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. Access is available to travelers flying in first or business class on any Star Alliance member airline, as well as to those holding Gold status in any Star Alliance frequent-flyer program.
The lounge offers a range of amenities designed for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot and cold refreshments, a dedicated bar area, and two coffee stations. For travelers seeking to freshen up, there are four fully equipped shower suites. A business center and complimentary WiFi provide the connectivity and workspace needed for work or planning before departure.
Terminal 3 at Guarulhos currently hosts nine Star Alliance member airlines: Air Canada, Air China, Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, South African Airways, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, TAP Portugal and United. The new lounge enhances the airport experience for passengers traveling with these carriers and supports seamless connections for international and domestic itineraries.
The lounge’s location on the mezzanine level is intended to offer a calm, comfortable environment away from the gate areas while remaining convenient for travelers connecting through Terminal 3. With a mix of seating options, refreshment points and business facilities, the space aims to cater to both leisure and business passengers seeking rest, work space or a place to dine before their flights.
Opening hours and access policies are set to accommodate the busiest travel periods at Guarulhos, and the lounge is staffed to provide service throughout its operating schedule. The combination of food and beverage offerings, private shower suites and work facilities reflects a focus on passenger needs during layovers and pre-flight waits.
