Carlson Rezidor Launches Blu Luxury Hotel Brand in Tunisia

Carlson Rezidor has announced the expansion of its upscale Radisson Blu brand with the signing of two hotels in Tunisia: the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Sousse, and the Radisson Blu Pearl Resort, Sousse. Both existing properties will reopen under the Radisson Blu flag following comprehensive renovations planned for the second quarter of 2016.

Situated in the heart of Sousse, the two adjacent properties provide direct beach access and are conveniently located about 30 minutes from Monastir International Airport and the new Enfidha International Airport. Their central location makes them appealing to both leisure guests seeking coastal relaxation and business travelers attending regional meetings and events.

The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Sousse will offer 217 guest rooms and suites, three restaurants and bars, indoor and outdoor pools, and extensive meeting facilities that include a ballroom and four meeting rooms. The property’s mix of dining, leisure and event spaces is designed to accommodate families, couples and corporate groups alike.

The Radisson Blu Pearl Resort, Sousse will feature 130 guest rooms and suites, five restaurants, two bars, two swimming pools, a spa and a fitness center. Its varied dining options and wellness amenities aim to provide a full-service resort experience for guests seeking both relaxation and active pursuits.

Both hotels are expected to reflect Radisson Blu’s contemporary design and service standards after renovation, offering modern accommodations, refreshed public areas and enhanced guest facilities. The addition of these two properties strengthens Radisson Blu’s presence in North Africa and expands the brand’s portfolio of beachfront resorts.
