As 2023 began, Hilton Luxury Brands announced several development updates for the coming years, including the brand debut of Conrad Hotels & Resorts in Morocco, the signing of Conrad Hamburg in Germany, and a new-build Waldorf Astoria in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Conrad Hamburg is set to become the first Conrad property in Germany when it opens in 2024. The hotel will occupy the historic Levantehaus building on a prominent shopping boulevard and feature 238 guestrooms and suites, nine meeting rooms, a lounge bar and restaurant, plus wellness facilities designed to meet the brand’s luxury standards.
Conrad Rabat Arzana, which opened in mid-December 2022, marked Conrad’s first hotel in Morocco. The 120-room property is located about 15 minutes from the corniche and 35 minutes from the airport. It offers four food and beverage outlets, a Conrad Spa, meeting and event spaces, and interiors that reflect local design influences.

Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has signed its third Mexico property with the planned Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende, a new-build scheduled to open in early 2025. The development will include 120 guestrooms and 24 Waldorf Astoria branded residences, all situated in the historic center of the UNESCO World Heritage town known for its cobblestone streets, Spanish-colonial architecture and the neo-Gothic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel church.
