MAGNIFICA BUSINESS CLASS
Magnifica, Alitalia’s intercontinental business-class cabin, delivers refined comfort and a distinctly Italian travel experience. On the new Airbus A330 and the refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft, Magnifica seats offer in-seat work and entertainment features and convert to true flat beds that recline a full 180 degrees. The cabin is configured to provide direct aisle access for every passenger.
Service in Magnifica includes award-winning menus inspired by regional Italian cuisine, luxury Frette linens, Richard Ginori tableware, and Ferragamo amenity kits stocked with curated personal-care items.
Flat-bed Magnifica seats are available on all Alitalia flights from New York JFK to Milan and Rome. These seats are also offered on flights from Boston and Miami to Rome and on seasonal Los Angeles–Rome services that operate between May and October.

BEST AIRLINE CUISINE — FOUR CONSECUTIVE WINS
Alitalia has been recognized for Best Airline Cuisine in Global Traveler’s GT Tested Reader Survey for four consecutive years. The airline also received recognition for its in-flight wine program in Saveur Magazine’s Culinary Travel Awards. These honors reflect Alitalia’s focus on delivering a high-quality Italian dining experience rooted in the country’s diverse regional traditions.
Magnifica’s menus are developed in collaboration with Alma, an internationally recognized training center for Italian cuisine. Menus are refreshed every three months and alternate on outbound and inbound flights so travelers enjoy a different dining selection on each leg. Wines are carefully paired with meals in partnership with the Italian Association of Sommeliers (AIS).
FERRAGAMO JOINS THE “MADE IN ITALY” BRANDS FEATURED IN MAGNIFICA
As an ambassador of the “Made in Italy” tradition, Alitalia selected Salvatore Ferragamo Parfums to design the Magnifica amenity kits provided on intercontinental flights.
For the first time, Alitalia supplies two distinct kits—one tailored for her and one for him—each created to complement the comfort and elegant style of Magnifica Class.
The kits include the unisex fragrance White Carrara, inspired by the renowned Tuscan marble and created for the Quintessential Tuscan Soul Collection, showcasing Italian craftsmanship and refinement.
