Aeroméxico, Mexico’s global airline, expanded its international network this summer with additional frequencies and new routes from several major gateways.
In the United States, the carrier added more service to Mexico City, including a second daily nonstop from San Francisco. Chicago now benefits from a third daily flight and Houston from a fourth daily frequency. Aeroméxico also launched new nonstop routes from Los Angeles to Loreto, La Paz, Cancún and Huatulco, and inaugurated service from Las Vegas to Hermosillo via Puerto Peñasco, marking the airline’s 47th destination within Mexico.
The growth extended across Latin America and Europe as well. Aeroméxico increased São Paulo service with two additional frequencies, bringing the total to nine weekly flights. A new frequency to Bogotá allows the airline to operate two daily flights on that route. Madrid received three additional frequencies, bringing the Madrid–Mexico City link to 10 weekly flights.
Aeroméxico’s expansion is complemented by a strong focus on customer experience. The airline’s premium cabin, Clase Premier, provides a range of amenities designed for comfort and convenience: access to 11 VIP Salones Premier in Mexico, preferred check-in counters, priority baggage handling and boarding, a welcome drink, hot meals, an amenity kit, fully flat 180-degree seats, and a duvet and pillow. On Boeing 777 aircraft, Clase Premier passengers enjoy an audio‑visual on‑demand entertainment system; on 767s the airline provides iPads for in-flight entertainment.
For travelers in economy who want extra comfort, AM Plus—the first three rows of the main cabin—offers four additional inches of legroom and increased seatback recline. AM Plus passengers also receive priority boarding and deplaning and access to dedicated check-in counters.
In October, Aeroméxico will take delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will be deployed on routes from Mexico City to Tokyo, Paris and New York. The Dreamliner, one of the latest-generation widebody aircraft, is expected to enhance long-haul comfort and overall passenger experience.
