Air China is expanding its network from its regional hub in Chengdu (CTU) with a new nonstop route to Paris (CDG). Beginning Dec. 12, the airline will operate four weekly direct flights between Chengdu and Paris. This addition makes Paris Air China’s fifth European destination, alongside Amsterdam (AMS), Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR) and Moscow (DME).
Air China currently operates about 110 international flights from Chengdu, serving passengers across Chengdu and the broader southwest China region. From this hub, travelers have nonstop connections to major cities including Tokyo (NRT), Osaka (ITM), Taipei (TPE), Seoul (ICN), Singapore (SIN), Colombo (CMB), Frankfurt and now Paris. The carrier’s route expansion supports Chengdu’s development as a major aviation center in China and reinforces its position as the primary air hub for southwest China.
