The front desk attendant welcomed me before I reached the reservation desk, and the check-in process was completed in under five minutes. The lobby evokes old Hollywood glamour—tasteful and warm rather than large or ostentatious—and felt inviting after a busy day of travel.
Guest Quarters: The guestroom felt spacious and comfortably residential. Neutral bedding and furnishings were enlivened by colorful pillows, argyle-patterned wallpaper, and modern artwork, creating a cheerful yet relaxed atmosphere. As a working traveler, I appreciated a generously sized desk with conveniently placed outlets that made it easy to plug in devices and work without rearranging the room. A standout detail was the vintage record player and curated vinyl selection; it was a refreshing and personal touch compared with the more common dock-style music systems.
The bathroom had a refined, luxurious feel. Bright lighting highlighted a large white vanity and sink, and the oversized glass-enclosed shower added a contemporary, spa-like touch.

Lorenzo, the hotel’s bar and restaurant, served a light and flavorful dinner on my first evening. I sat at the bar and noticed consistent attentiveness from bartenders, servers, and management. For breakfast I ordered room service from Lorenzo; while the food was good, the breakfast menu is somewhat limited and the service hours start later than I prefer as an early riser.
One of the hotel’s best features is the rooftop pool and deck. The space offers pleasant city views and a calm, relaxed environment ideal for unwinding. The property does not house a fitness center on site; however, guests have access to the fitness facilities at the nearby SLS Hotel South Beach, which provides an adequate solution for those wanting to maintain their workout routine.
The Experience: Overall, my stay at The Redbury was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms strike a balance between stylish design and homey comfort, and the staff’s friendliness made the visit feel genuinely welcoming.
