Villa Belrose Now Part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World

It’s official: The Althoff Hotel Villa Belrose in the Côte d’Azur — just five minutes from Saint-Tropez — has joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection. Independently owned and designed with Florentine influences, the hotel delivers attentive service and refined comforts across its intimate grounds.

The property features around 40 well-appointed guestrooms, most with private balconies offering sea or garden views. Facilities include a large heated outdoor pool and a luxury spa and beauty center, providing ideal options for relaxation and pampering during a stay on the French Riviera.

The hotel’s Michelin-influenced restaurant, Le Belrose, is led by Chef Pietro Volontè, who crafts Mediterranean dishes with a distinct Italian sensibility. Signature offerings include creations like the Risotto Pietro Volontè, prepared and presented in a Parmesan cheese wheel. Diners can enjoy their meals on the terrace with sea views, accompanied by selections from a carefully curated wine list of more than 500 French labels — one of the most extensive lists in the region.

Beyond the hotel, guests can explore the surrounding landscape of vineyards, picturesque Provençal villages and world-renowned beaches that define the French Riviera experience. For travelers seeking a curated getaway, the hotel’s La Vie en Rose package combines thoughtful inclusions to showcase the area: two nights in a double sea-view room with private terrace, daily buffet breakfast served in the restaurant or delivered to the room, a welcome cocktail on the bar terrace, fruit and Champagne on arrival, a day at the private Pampelonne beach with lunch and sunbeds, a one-day Scooter GT rental for independent exploration, and one gourmet dinner at Le Belrose.

The Villa Belrose offers an intimate, elegant base for enjoying Saint-Tropez and the surrounding Côte d’Azur, blending personalized service, refined dining and seaside charm for a memorable stay.
