United Airlines Opens New Lounge at Fort Lauderdale Airport

United Airlines has expanded its United Club lounge network with a new location at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport. The new lounge is the first of four additions planned for this year, with three more openings scheduled before year-end.

The Fort Lauderdale United Club occupies approximately 5,000 square feet near gate C1 and features amenities designed for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy complimentary high-speed Wi‑Fi, a selection of locally inspired food and beverage options, comfortable seating, and dedicated spaces for work and relaxation.

Beyond Fort Lauderdale, United is preparing to open additional lounges in several key airports. New United Club locations are planned for the new terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Raleigh‑Durham International Airport, and Terminal B at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, where the airline recently moved several operations.

United currently operates more than 50 United Club lounges around the world. Access to these lounges is available to United premium-class customers on international and select transcontinental flights, Star Alliance Gold members, United Club members, active-duty U.S. military personnel in uniform, and travelers holding qualifying premium-level status with partner carriers such as Amtrak and Air Canada.

“United Clubs are the perfect spot for our customers to relax and recharge, and we are excited to open the first of four new United Clubs this year,” said Toby Enqvist, United’s chief customer officer. “Our multimillion-dollar investment in the United Clubs is one of many ways we are working to improve every aspect of our customers’ experience.”
