Top San Diego Hotels Partner with Bay Wine & Food Festival

The 10th annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival launches on Nov. 18, kicking off a week of culinary classes, wine-tasting seminars, and signature chef dinners. The week culminates with the Grand Tasting Event, which showcases more than 70 of San Diego’s leading chefs and restaurants alongside over 170 wineries, breweries, and spirit producers.

“With the irresistible mix of exceptional food, fine wine, and great weather, our affordable hotel and ticket packages give food and wine enthusiasts the perfect chance to discover one of the country’s most dynamic cities during one of the nation’s premier luxury culinary festivals,” said Michelle Metter, co-producer of the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival.

The festival has teamed up with several of the city’s top hotels to offer bundled ticket and lodging packages. Participating properties include Marriott Marquis, Embassy Suites, Hilton Bayfront, Hotel Indigo, Manchester Grand Hyatt, Omni San Diego, US Grant, W San Diego, and Westin San Diego, providing convenient options for attendees traveling from near and far.

Proceeds from the event support culinary arts and enology scholarships administered by The American Institute of Wine & Food and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, helping to nurture the next generation of chefs, sommeliers, and wine professionals.

Attendees can expect a diverse lineup of events throughout the festival week, including hands-on cooking classes, intimate tasting seminars led by industry experts, multi-course chef collaborations, and opportunities to sample rare and limited-production wines. The Grand Tasting Event brings all those elements together in one dynamic celebration, where guests can move between tasting stations, meet culinary innovators, and discover new wines and craft beverages.

With its blend of educational programming, high-profile tastings, and celebratory dinners, the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival appeals to both serious connoisseurs and casual food lovers. The festival’s partnerships with local hotels make it easy to plan a weekend getaway centered on food and wine, while scholarship funding ensures the event gives back to the culinary community.

Whether you’re interested in deepening your knowledge of wine, sampling cutting-edge cuisine, or enjoying lively tasting rooms with stunning waterfront views, the festival offers something for every palate. Advance ticketing and package deals are available for those looking to secure their spot at the week’s most anticipated events.
