The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has completed a $13.8 million renovation and will unveil its refreshed rooms and suites in early February.
All guest rooms were redesigned to reflect the island’s natural beauty, creating a refined coastal retreat. Led by Ellis Adams Design, the renovation drew inspiration from Hilton Head’s sea oats and sweetgrass, resulting in spaces that emphasize relaxation and rejuvenation. Materials, textures, and finishes echo the local landscape—sandy tones, marsh hues, verdant greens and clear blues—while light, airy touches enhance a serene atmosphere throughout the accommodations.

The presidential suite includes a master bedroom, an adjoining living room, a large dining table, a private veranda and expansive balconies with resort and Atlantic Ocean views. The vice presidential suite features a king bedroom, living room, walk-in closet, three balconies and a living area with a wet bar and powder room—an ideal layout for entertaining. Positioned on the beachfront, The Atlantic Suite provides ocean views, privacy, separate sleeping and seating areas, a private balcony and a wet bar.

The Resort Bunk Suite is designed for groups and families, offering bunk beds alongside a king bed, a dinette table, a spacious balcony and an entertainment area with a wet bar—evoking the relaxed spirit of summer camp while delivering modern comforts.
Additional accommodations include 25 Carolina King suites as well as oceanfront, ocean-view, island-view and resort-view guestrooms, all updated to align with the resort’s coastal design language and elevated standards of comfort.
The property’s refreshed interiors and thoughtful details aim to provide guests with a calm, restorative setting that honors Hilton Head Island’s landscape while delivering contemporary resort amenities.
