The Leading Hotels of the World Welcomes Five New Members

The Leading Hotels of the World has added five distinctive independent luxury hotels to its collection, which now includes more than 400 properties across 80 countries. Each member reflects the character of its destination through design, culture and cuisine. The new additions span Costa Rica, England, France, Singapore and Tunisia and exemplify the collection’s commitment to individuality and high standards. Meet the newest members:

AltaGracia Boutique Hacienda; Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica
Perched on 850 acres in the mountains of southern Costa Rica, AltaGracia Boutique Hacienda feels like a private rural retreat. The property’s 50 casitas (small houses) offer exposed wood ceilings, warm fabrics and fireplaces, creating an intimate atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, onsite dining and spa treatments set within the hacienda’s natural surroundings.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa; Bath, England
Opening in July, The Gainsborough Bath Spa centers around an expansive spa complex. The Spa Village Bath spans 4,200 square feet and includes 11 treatment rooms, a couple’s suite and a VIP treatment room. The hotel also offers exclusive spa guestrooms that provide direct in-bathroom access to thermal waters—an amenity unique in England—alongside thoughtful service and refined guest experiences.

Hotel Royal – Evian Resort; Évian-les-Bains, France
Reopening on July 1 after a full refurbishment, Hotel Royal at Evian Resort presents 150 guestrooms and an extensive wellness and spa program. The resort includes a golf academy, a selection of fine dining venues and La Grange au Lac, a striking concert hall constructed entirely of wood. The renovation blends modern comforts with the property’s historic seaside charm.

The Patina, Capitol Singapore; Singapore
Scheduled to open in fall 2016, The Patina, Capitol Singapore is the city’s first integrated luxury lifestyle development combining residences, retail, dining and a theater. The 157-room hotel introduces Patina 360° Concierge™, a highly personalized service designed to anticipate and fulfill guests’ needs, complemented by thoughtfully crafted public spaces and programming.

Decorative details include hand-painted ceramic panels with Arabic script and furnishings inspired by Islamic geometric patterns, creating a calm, culturally resonant atmosphere.
