The BodyHoliday, an award-winning resort on the northern tip of St Lucia, will become the first Caribbean property to offer in-room tablets from Crave Interactive, a specialist in tablet- and app-based guest solutions for upscale hotels.
“We’re delighted to be supplying our technology to The BodyHoliday,” said Tim Butterworth, commercial director at Crave. “Our in-room tablets are ideal for resorts that offer a wide range of on-site facilities and activities. They provide an effective way to showcase services, improve guest communication and create opportunities for upselling.”
Crave, based in the UK, is a leader in in-room tablet technology across Europe and is already installed in luxury properties such as The Lanesborough and Chewton Glen. The tablets support instant in-room food and beverage ordering, spa and activity bookings, guest messaging, digital directories and menus, plus targeted in-room promotions and advertising.
All 155 rooms at The BodyHoliday will be equipped with the tablets. The resort is renowned for its beach, lush tropical gardens and one of the Caribbean’s leading spas.
“Our guests spend most of their time on the resort and we offer a comprehensive range of high-quality facilities and activities,” said Vinod Biscette, spokesperson for The BodyHoliday. “Being able to communicate directly with guests through the in-room tablets will significantly enhance their stay. Improving the guest experience is our primary goal, and the tablets will also deliver clear commercial advantages.”
