“We are proud of the achievements made by our NGO and community partners on the ground. Each resort has developed projects tailored to local needs and strives for meaningful, measurable impact in its destination. We invite guests to celebrate these initiatives with us — they are possible because of guest visits and ongoing support,” said Jeff Smith, Vice President of Sustainability at Six Senses.

Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman supports the Dibba Women Association, empowering local women and offering guests authentic cultural experiences. Across all properties, Six Senses expanded access to education and skills training for 8,528 local students. Guest engagement is a key part of the program, with 19,403 guests volunteering their time in 2022, contributing directly to community projects.
Every Six Senses property includes an Earth Lab — dedicated spaces that host workshops and activities focused on sustainable living, environmental education and hands-on conservation. These labs provide guests and local communities with practical tools and knowledge to live more sustainably and to support ongoing restoration efforts.
Together, these initiatives reflect Six Senses’ holistic approach: protecting biodiversity, restoring habitats, preserving cultural heritage, and investing in community wellbeing. By measuring outcomes and partnering with local organizations, the brand aims to deliver tangible benefits to the ecosystems and people at each destination while encouraging guests to take part in meaningful, responsible travel.
