The 13th running of the California Festival of Speed is fast approaching. Hosted by Zone 8 of the Porsche Club of America, the event will take place April 4–6 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. The Festival is the largest Porsche gathering in the Southwest.
At its heart, the Festival is a PCA Club Race — a showcase of amateur racing at its finest. Porsches both vintage and modern take to the track for a weekend of high-speed, wheel-to-wheel competition. Alongside the on-track racing, the weekend features a full roster of activities, including Autocross, Concours d’Elegance, Time Trials, Pirelli Cup Racing, Parade Laps, a Porsche Corral, and a hospitality area with a vendor row and goodie store.
On Saturday, the Porsche Timeline highlights four- and eight-cylinder models that trace the brand’s evolution through the years. Adjacent to the Timeline, the Concours area becomes the winners’ circle, where owners receive awards for meticulously prepared vehicles. On Sunday, a Supercar Paddock showcases rare and exotic cars from a variety of manufacturers.
The Festival provides something for every Porsche enthusiast — from trackside thrills for racers to curated displays and social areas for collectors and fans. Whether you’re coming to watch spirited club racing, admire classic and contemporary Porsches, or explore vendor offerings, the event delivers an immersive weekend celebrating Porsche culture and motorsport.
Attendees should plan ahead for parking, paddock access, and event schedules, as the Festival typically draws a large crowd. Bring appropriate ear and sun protection for trackside viewing, and check for any club-specific requirements if you plan to participate on track or display a vehicle.
For owners and spectators alike, the California Festival of Speed is an annual highlight — combining competition, community, and car culture in a dynamic, family-friendly setting.
