Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps Chalets Now Include Porsche Taycan Rentals

New Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps chalet owners will receive a Porsche Taycan with the resort’s opening. When the property launches in 2021, chalet buyers will be among the first to take delivery of Porsche’s all-electric Taycan. The zero-emission sports car reflects the resort’s strong commitment to sustainability while offering high-end performance and comfort; the Taycan delivers a minimum range of about 311 miles and can accelerate to 62 mph in under three seconds.

“Sustainability is not just about what we do, but who we do it with,” said Bernhard Bohnenberger, president of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas. “Our relationship with Porsche and its zero-emission model underlines our position to build and operate in ways that minimize our ecological impact.”

Michael Staininger, co-developer of Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps, emphasized that the partnership goes beyond driving excitement or added value for chalet buyers. “This strategic alliance has deeper roots,” he said. “We want to ensure our planet remains a safe and stable environment, full of natural wonders, for generations to come. We must take responsibility. Six Senses aims to be plastic-free by 2022, and Porsche has moved away from diesel. That alignment shows both brands are heading in the same direction. All we do is plant the seed.”

The resort overlooks the Hohe Tauern, the largest nature reserve in the Alps, and is designed to blend luxury with environmental sensitivity. Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps will feature 80 guest accommodations and 50 private residences, including 15 standalone chalets. The chalets offer four or five bedrooms and are finished with a focus on comfort, contemporary style, and energy efficiency. Each private residence integrates modern home technology to enhance convenience while reducing environmental impact.

Located in a prime alpine setting, Six Senses Kitzbühel Alps is accessible by road from nearby cities. It is approximately a three-hour drive from Munich and roughly two hours from the airports in Salzburg (SZG) and Innsbruck (INN), making it convenient for international and regional travelers seeking a sustainable luxury retreat in the Alps.
