Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park Reopens Upgraded Club Lounge

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park’s Club Lounge reopened on Sept. 1. Originally unveiled after the hotel’s multimillion-dollar renovation in 2019 as the only five-diamond private club lounge in New York City, its initial run was cut short by the pandemic.

Located on the hotel’s second floor with views of Central Park, the Club Lounge provides an intimate setting for guests to relax, dine and take part in curated experiences such as wine and spirits tastings. Measuring more than 3,000 square feet, the lounge accommodates about 50 guests and features a refined palette of greens and beige, with velvet and leather furnishings that complement its elegant atmosphere.

With the reopening comes a wellness-inspired menu that rotates daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and updates seasonally. Guests can enjoy complimentary culinary presentations from local producers each day, along with pre-dinner service from a Champagne cart and scheduled caviar tastings. The Club Lounge also includes a dedicated on-site concierge and an exclusive partnership with the Fifth Avenue Club at Saks Fifth Avenue for added privileges.

Families are welcome in the lounge; children have access to games, books, a candy display and the Ritz Kids activity book, ensuring younger guests stay entertained. Club Lounge access is complimentary for guests staying in specialty suites, which include the Presidential, Royal, Artist Gate, Ritz-Carlton and Central Park Suites. For other guests, lounge access may be purchased separately for $450–$750-plus, depending on season and availability. The Club Lounge is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
