The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is bringing back its popular Masters of Crafts series for a fourth edition, inviting renowned chefs and mixologists to the resort for exclusive culinary and cocktail experiences. The program gives guests intimate access to leading talent from the global hospitality scene, showcasing refined techniques, inventive flavors, and immersive tastings.
The 2025 lineup includes several celebrated names and promising collaborations:
Chef Simone Caponnetto and Bar Manager Alessandro Mengoni, Locale Firenze
Chef Simone Caponnetto and bar manager Alessandro Mengoni from Locale Firenze will be at the resort March 13–15. They will present contemporary Italian cuisine that emphasizes elegant presentation and seasonal ingredients, paired with an inventive cocktail program. Locale Firenze’s bar ranked 36th on The World’s Best Bars 2025 list, reflecting its creative approach to mixology and thoughtful pairings.

Chef René Frank, Coda
René Frank, the Berlin-based pastry chef behind Coda, Berlin’s first dessert-only restaurant, will visit April 26–27. Known for his modern pastry techniques and inventive flavor combinations, Frank will present desserts that blend surprising ingredients with refined pastry craft to create memorable finales to the resort’s dining experiences.
Head Bartender Vasilis Kyritsis, Line
Vasilis Kyritsis, head bartender at Line in Athens, ranked sixth on The World’s Best Bars 2025 list, will be at the resort June 8–10. Kyritsis is recognized for his contemporary cocktail creations, precision, and balance, and will offer signature drinks and bespoke tasting menus that highlight seasonal produce and regional influences.

Chef Max Strohe, Tulus Lotrek
Michelin-starred chef and author Max Strohe of Tulus Lotrek in Berlin will be on property Oct. 27–Nov. 3. Strohe’s cuisine, influenced by contemporary French techniques and precise execution, emphasizes seasonal produce and inventive preparations, offering guests a refined multi-course tasting experience.
Mixologist Remy Savage, A Bar with Shapes for a Name and Bar Nouveau
Remy Savage, celebrated for his work at London’s A Bar with Shapes for a Name and Paris’ Bar Nouveau, will visit Nov. 26–30. Savage’s cocktails draw from art, scent, and sensory storytelling, creating immersive drinks that engage taste, aroma, and presentation for a fully theatrical cocktail service.
Each Masters of Crafts appearance will include curated menus, interactive demonstrations, and special tasting events that allow guests to learn directly from these masters. The series highlights the resort’s commitment to culinary excellence and creative hospitality, offering rare opportunities to experience international talent in an intimate island setting.
