Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel, Philadelphia will mark National Pet Day on April 11 by launching dedicated pet-friendly guestrooms. These rooms are outfitted with food and water bowls on placemats, comfortable pet beds, and treats available on request. Guests will also find an in-room pet room service menu featuring items such as Doggie Meatloaf and Pampered Pooch Rice and Lamb Casserole, plus maps that point out dog-friendly parks, walking paths and nearby pet stores.
“Philadelphia is a very pet-friendly city,” said Jean Marc Jalbert, general manager. “With National Pet Day approaching, we wanted to show that we welcome pets just as much as we welcome their owners.”
Social media personality Marnie The Dog will be on site to greet the hotel’s first pet guests. Rescued at age 10, Marnie has used her online following to champion senior pet adoption. To support that cause, the hotel will introduce a special promotion beginning April 8 in which $10 from each qualifying booking will be donated to City of Elderly Love, a local non-profit that helps place adoptable senior pets in loving homes.
The Pets Loving Pets package includes an overnight stay in a pet-friendly room, a $10 credit toward the dog room service menu and a credit redeemable at a nearby pet boutique.
Located on Rittenhouse Square, Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel is a 301-room historic property that recently completed a $20 million renovation, updating all guestrooms, corridors and the lobby to blend modern comforts with the building’s classic character.
