Plaza Premium is preparing to open a new airport lounge at Helsinki Airport (HEL).
The lounge is planned to open in February 2019 and will be located in the airport’s non‑Schengen area, within the expanded central plaza of the terminal. Designed for comfort and convenience, the facility will include a live kitchen, shower suites, charging ports, complimentary Wi‑Fi, computer workstations and a dedicated kids’ area.
“Expanding to Helsinki Airport was a natural decision for us. Finland serves as a key transit hub on the shortest route between Europe and Asia,” said Jonathan Song, Business Development Director at Plaza Premium Group. “We are excited to bring our airport hospitality expertise to our third European market. This partnership marks another important step toward our global growth.”
Plaza Premium currently operates lounges in more than 40 international airports, including London (LHR), Abu Dhabi (AUH), Sydney (SYD), Hong Kong (HKG), Shanghai (PVG) and Singapore (SIN).
