IHG Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its global portfolio with several hotel openings and recent debuts this spring.

Now Open

IHG welcomed multiple properties this spring that are now accepting guests. SOUMA Hotel Lima, part of the Vignette Collection, marks the collection’s first property in South America and features 214 guestrooms designed without single-use plastics. Iberostar Waves Miami Beach offers a convenient location near the Miami Convention Center and incorporates energy-efficient features. avid Harrisburg provides a family-friendly option close to Hersheypark and regional attractions, ideal for short getaways. In Exeter, United Kingdom, voco Zeal Exeter Science Park opened as IHG’s first branded net zero carbon hotel, demonstrating the brand’s investment in sustainable operations.

Opening This Month

Several new hotels are scheduled to open this month across Europe and Asia. Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia will debut in Italy, positioned for both business and leisure travelers with easy access to major Roman attractions. Malta will welcome voco Malta, a contemporary property located steps from St. George’s Bay and close to coastal amenities. In Japan, RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka joins the Vignette Collection after an extensive renovation, becoming the country’s first property under that collection.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the quarter, IHG plans to bring its first hotel to Quang Binh province in Vietnam. voco Quang Binh Resort in Dong Hoi is expected to open in Q2 and will expand IHG’s presence in Southeast Asia.

These openings reflect IHG’s ongoing strategy to diversify its portfolio across regions and segments—ranging from locally inspired upscale brands to family-oriented and environmentally focused hotels—offering travelers more choice and strengthened commitment to sustainability and guest experience.
