From March 2–5, the Rocky Mountain town of Boulder, Colorado, hosts the Boulder International Film Festival. As part of this year’s festival, the third annual CineCHEF culinary event takes place on Friday, March 3, at the Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery and Event Center.
Top local chefs will create movie‑inspired small plates presented at tasting stations throughout the venue, paired with Francis Ford Coppola wines and a selection of local brews. Guests can sample dishes and vote for their favorites; the chef with the most votes will receive an award for the best dish.
CineCHEF tickets also include access to a screening of Ella Brennan: Commanding the Table, a documentary about the influential restaurateur behind New Orleans’ renowned Commander’s Palace and her impact on American dining.
The event blends cinematic storytelling with culinary creativity, offering festivalgoers a chance to enjoy handcrafted tastings, curated beverages, and a film that celebrates a pioneering figure in the restaurant world. Whether you’re drawn by the food, the film, or both, CineCHEF provides a lively complement to the Boulder International Film Festival’s lineup of screenings and special events.
