Millennium Hotels & Resorts Launches in Turkey — New Luxury Stays

Millennium Hotels and Resorts has opened its first hotel in Turkey: the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn Hotel. The 127-room property sits close to the primary inlet of the Bosphorus, giving guests convenient access to one of Istanbul’s most iconic waterways.

The hotel is surrounded by notable attractions. Guests can visit the Kariye Mosque and Museum, explore the historic Balat neighborhood with its UNESCO-recognized Ottoman houses, climb Pierre Loti Hill for panoramic views, and discover nearby churches and synagogues that reflect the city’s rich cultural tapestry. Atatürk International Airport is approximately a nine-mile drive from the property, making transfers straightforward for arriving travelers.

Public facilities at the hotel are designed to meet both leisure and business needs. A modern fitness center and luxury spa—including a traditional Turkish hammam—provide wellness options, while a business center, meeting rooms and a ballroom accommodate conferences, events and social gatherings.

Dining at the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn showcases a mix of international and local flavors. Keros offers innovative international dishes alongside Turkish favorites, while Tekfur is a steakhouse with views overlooking the Golden Horn. For a distinctive, intimate experience, the Kathisma Private Dining Room is inspired by the Byzantium period and offers a themed setting for special meals.

“Istanbul remains one of the world’s leading tourist destinations, attracting more than 10 million travelers last year alone, so we are delighted to bring the first Millennium Hotels’ and Resorts’ hotel to this vibrant city. While being surrounded by historical walls of Byzantine Empire, Ayazma and the Church St. Mary of Blachaernae, we offer an exciting new choice for travelers and look forward to delivering unique standards of Millennium hospitality in the city,” said Orhan Yeserenyuva, general manager of the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn Hotel.

The hotel’s location, amenities and dining options position it as a convenient and culturally immersive base for visitors seeking both modern comforts and easy access to Istanbul’s historic sites. With its combination of contemporary services and nods to local traditions, the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn aims to deliver a memorable stay for tourists and business travelers alike.
