MEETT Toulouse Opening 2020: New Exhibition and Event Center in France

A new convention and exhibition center, MEETT, is scheduled to open in Toulouse, France, in June 2020. Announced by the Toulouse Métropole Development Agency and Toulouse Événements in November 2018, the facility is designed to bring modern, flexible event space and supporting infrastructure to the region.

MEETT’s architecture emphasizes contemporary design and practical layout. The main hall offers 40,000 square meters (more than 130,000 square feet) of continuous exhibition space that can be subdivided into seven separate halls to suit different event sizes and formats. The complex includes an on-site hotel with 289 rooms and substantial parking capacity to serve large gatherings.

Indoor facilities include 15,000 square meters (more than 49,000 square feet) of configurable convention space that can accommodate up to 3,400 attendees for conferences, plenary sessions and other large meetings. Complementing the indoor areas, the site also features 25,000 square meters (more than 82,000 square feet) of outdoor exhibition space intended for open-air displays, large-scale entertainment and demonstrations.

To ensure convenient access for exhibitors and visitors, the center provides 5,000 parking spaces and is well connected to public transportation. From Toulouse city center, the venue is reachable within approximately 40 minutes, making it accessible for both local and international guests.

MEETT is a collaborative project developed with Toulouse’s municipal partners and the Occitanie region to highlight the area’s economic strengths and reliability as a destination for business events. The facility is positioned to support a wide range of sectors and event types, from trade shows and conferences to cultural and entertainment programming.

The inaugural event planned for MEETT is the Global Space in Toulouse fair, organized by Toulouse Space Show, scheduled for June 2020. This international gathering for the space industry will showcase the center’s capacity to host major professional events and to serve as a hub for specialized global communities.
